The northern region is dry in winter and spring, must not make it too dry, you can stop spraying water in autumn, it is appropriate to basin soil is not dry.

Third, fertilization is very fastidious to orchid fertilization, the cultivation of orchids rarely use base fertilizer, mostly topdressing liquid fertilizer, during the growth period 5 to 10 days to apply thin rotten liquid fertilizer. There is no topdressing in midsummer and severe winter, and fertilization is not suitable before and after flowering. In general, we should grasp the principle of "be diligent and light, and avoid being quick and thick". Fifth, the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests should grasp the principle that prevention is more important than control. White silk disease is easy to occur in high temperature in rainy season, which can be prevented by Bordeaux solution or Topurazine. When shell insects occur, dimethoate and other chemicals can be used to control them.
