In fact, "developing agriculture with the concept of industry" is not a new term. The path of agricultural modernization in developed countries is generally to develop agriculture in an industrial way. If agriculture does not develop in the direction of industrialization, agricultural modernization will lose its support; on the contrary, only by fundamentally changing the mode of agricultural development can farmers increase their income and increase efficiency.

In some areas of the development of agricultural industrialization in China, it has shown the characteristics of standardization, specialization, scale and even the linkage of secondary and tertiary industries, which is very similar to the production characteristics of industrial products. To strengthen the protection of the source of agriculture, we should further speed up the application of science and technology in the field of agricultural production. At present, China is one of the countries with the scarcest agricultural resources per capita in the world, with less than 9 mu of land per household. Under this background, in order to further improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural production, we must take the route of technological substitution and speed up the application of science and technology in agricultural production, especially in the field, such as popularizing water-saving irrigation technology and raising the level of agricultural mechanization, so as to improve agricultural production efficiency and reduce production costs.

To strengthen the protection of the source of agriculture, we should promote various forms of appropriate scale operation on the basis of respecting the wishes of farmers. Ultra-small-scale operation is not conducive to the specialization, standardization and scientific and technological development of agricultural production, and it is difficult to achieve the goal of agricultural modernization. At present, China encourages the development of "family farms". On the basis of adhering to agricultural household production and management, we can achieve the goal of promoting agricultural efficiency and increasing farmers' income through appropriate scale operation, which conforms to the new trend of agricultural development. At present, it is necessary to continue to do a good job in the registration of land contractual management rights, establish a standardized land transfer mechanism, and guide new agricultural operators, including family farmers, to transform to scale, specialization and intensification.

To strengthen the protection of the source of agriculture, we should also guide financial resources to speed up the docking of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers". Small farmers account for a relatively large proportion in China's agricultural production, and their development of production and growing demand must be supported by strong funds. In recent years, the central "No. 1 document" has emphasized the role of finance in supporting "agriculture, rural areas and farmers". However, due to the problems of information asymmetry and high cost, it is often difficult for small farmers to obtain financial support. In this regard, the author believes that we should actively promote the establishment of rural endogenous cooperative organizations and solve the problem of information asymmetry between farmers and financial institutions on the basis of mutual financial assistance within the organizations. to create favorable conditions for policy finance and commercial finance to support farmers to develop production from the supply side. In addition, local governments should also speed up exploration in strengthening financial and financial cooperation and promoting the reform of the property rights system, and introduce sustained and stable supporting policies to guide bank funds to better benefit agriculture, rural areas and farmers.
