The promotion of green prevention and control needs to go through the "three hurdles"

Based on the exploration and practice in the early stage, a few years ago, Kecheng District of Quzhou, Zhejiang Province successfully established "National Export Food (Citrus) Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Demonstration Zone" and was listed as "National Demonstration Zone for Green Prevention and Control of Crop Diseases and Pests." Through demonstration drive, the effect is also very remarkable, Kecheng has built 39 citrus export registration bases. However, at present, the application of green prevention and control technology of citrus diseases and insect pests in Kecheng is only limited to export bases, accounting for a small proportion. There are three reasons why it is difficult to popularize.

First, the cost is high. It is estimated that the application of green prevention and control requires an investment of 230 yuan per mu in the early stage and a certain operation and maintenance cost in the later stage, while the cost of chemical prevention and control is 137 yuan per mu. For large households, it is generally acceptable due to the effective saving of medication and labor cost; However, for many retail investors, since most of them apply drugs by themselves, the labor cost is naturally not included in the cost, so they are often discouraged in the face of expensive one-time investment.

Second, the disease and pest monitoring system is not perfect. At present, there is only one pest monitoring point in the citrus base of nearly 200,000 mu in Kecheng District, and the technical service team is very weak, resulting in the assembly, optimization, integration and popularization of green prevention and control technology to be further improved.

Third, citrus control pesticide spraying equipment lag. Reporters in many farmers 'homes to see, the current use of citrus spraying equipment, is still more than 20 years ago spray rod type, even if some advanced, but also to small gasoline engine driven plunger pump as power. Although unmanned plant protection aircraft, powder spraying machine and other equipment have long been available, due to the lack of matching chemicals, it is difficult to land and apply, and the low operation efficiency has seriously restricted the development of citrus unified control.

Just as Zheng Lizhen, director of plant protection and quarantine station in Kecheng District, said, different from traditional agricultural technology promotion, the promotion of green prevention and control technology is obviously more complicated. Only by constantly innovating policies, mechanisms and methods can we fundamentally activate the enthusiasm of farmers. Farmers feel that the application of new technologies is profitable, and the promotion work will naturally come to fruition.
