I have three pots of asparagus in my family for seven or eight years now. The leaves are always yellow in the first two years, and they don't grow very well. Later, a classmate of mine, who specializes in flower farming, once came to my house and saw that the leaves of asparagus I raised were dry and yellow. He told me several tricks to make the leaves of asparagus grow green all the year round. The effect is really good after I use it. For many years now, my three pots of asparagus leaves have been in a state of green, and the growth is strong.

In spring, when the temperature outside reaches more than 10 degrees, asparagus should be moved from indoor to outdoor maintenance, as long as the temperature is less than 25 degrees, there is no need for shade, so that it can fully accept the light, when the temperature reaches more than 26 degrees, it needs appropriate shade. Do not let strong light exposure. At first, I was afraid that the summer sun would be too strong and the leaves would be sunburned, so I put them indoors against the heat. As a result, the leaves turned yellow for a period of time, so I took it under the big tree outside, and after about half a month, I returned to the shape of green. This shows that asparagus likes a semi-overcast and ventilated environment.

Asparagus likes the moist air during its growth. I basically spray fog on the leaves twice every morning and evening, and the watering is flexibly controlled according to the dryness and humidity of the basin soil. In summer, it is usually watered once every four days or so. In winter, sometimes only once every half a month, it depends on the specific situation. Some water is often sprayed around the flowerpot to increase air humidity. Since spring, I usually use 0 or 2% urea solution in combination with watering every ten days or so. Sometimes I also use compound fertilizer solution. After October 1, I apply potash fertilizer to facilitate the winter. Fertilization should be stopped in winter.

Asparagus should be moved indoors before entering winter, or you can put it on the balcony for breeding. However, indoor culture should be turned into a pot every 10 days, in case the leaves are too long and affect their appearance. As the indoor air is too dry in winter, it should be properly sprayed to increase humidity, and adequate care should be given at the same time, which is conducive to keeping the leaves green.
