After 20 years of growing flowers, the water is not well watered. No wonder one pot is dead!
If the soil is dry, it will be poured.
Some flower lovers are more careful. When they see the flowers at home, they always want to water them, thinking that they will grow up soon after watering them.
In fact, they are not as short of water as we imagine. as soon as they are watered, the flowers and plants will not be finished, and the flowerpots will immediately become "ponds".
In fact, to judge whether the flowers and plants are thirsty, just look at the soil. Flowers often say that the soil is dry and water it. How to judge whether the soil is dry or not?
1. See if the potted soil is white.
Look directly at whether the soil in the basin is white or not. for example, the soil on the left is light and needs watering, while the flowerpot on the right has just been watered.
2. Rub your fingers
Rub your fingers under the soil to see if the hair is dry, and the soil is easily crushed and powdered, so it is necessary to water it quickly.
3. Insert a toothpick as a signal
You can insert the toothpick in the soil, pay attention to the edge of the flowerpot, it is not easy to get to the root of the flower.
A long bamboo stick is fine, just insert it into the soil by 3-5 cm.
Pull out the sticker, if you see the soil layer below 2 cm (green distance above) before it begins to bring moisture, it means that the basin soil has begun to dry, if it exceeds 2 cm, it will be very dry, so water it quickly.
When do you water it?
Do you water it when you remember it, but don't water it if you can't remember it? Flowers occasionally forget, you know, regardless of time random watering will really water the flowers to death, it is better not to water it!
1. Watering in the morning (6:00-9:00)
The temperature is low at night, and after one night, the temperature of the flowerpot is also lower. Watering early in the morning will not affect their metabolism and will not hurt the roots.
It's refreshing to water the flowers early in the morning.
Is it all right to water it at noon?
At noon, the temperature is the highest in the day, and the internal activity of flowers and plants is relatively fast. At this time, the soil in the watering basin will suddenly cool down, which will hurt them.
The sun is strong at noon, the flowers may be a little wilted, don't be in a hurry, wait and water them again.
But noon in winter is a good time to water, because the temperature at noon in winter is the highest in the day, and the circulation of flowers and plants begins to be normal. Sooner or later, it's too cold to water.
3. Watering can be done in the evening (18:00-20:00)
After the temperature drops in the evening, touch the temperature of the flowerpot, as long as it is normal, you can water it. It is not suitable to water thoroughly at this time, just wet the basin noodles a little.
What kind of water should I pour?
1. Tap water
I believe everyone has directly poured tap water, which is so much about flowers and plants!
But tap water contains elements such as chlorine, and water in different places has acid and alkali, some of which are not conducive to plant growth.
We can put the tap water on the balcony for a few days and then water it. It's much better.
2. Pond and lake water
Relatively clear ponds and lakes can be used to water flowers, there are some microbial nutrients, which are very suitable for watering orchids, roses, camellias and some large flowers.
If you encounter a clean one, you can decorate it back, leave it for a day or two, precipitate the impurities and then use it.
3 、 Rain Water
Rain Water can also water flowers, but not all of them, such as places with serious air pollution, Rain Water is very dirty.
If the flower friends have a good environment at home, you can connect Rain Water to water the flowers.
Pay attention to leave it for 1-2 days to precipitate impurities before using it.
So much for watering flowers.
