Several methods of fertilization for Orchid
The growth of orchids cultivated at home is good or poor, and fertilization is one of the main links.
The climate in the south is relatively warm, and fertilizer can be applied after the Spring Festival. In the north, because of the cold climate, it is appropriate to be from March to early April in Yangchun. Flower friends with experience in orchid cultivation used rotten dry cow dung, mixed with 10 times of culture soil, and added a small amount of phosphate fertilizer to mix base fertilizer with culture soil. It is difficult for flower lovers living in cities to find rotten dried cow dung, and they can also add various kinds of water-fermented meal crumbs to the cultivation soil, such as bean cake, rapeseed cake, cottonseed cake, sesame cake, etc., and the horns of cattle and sheep can also be used as base fertilizer. Bury one of these organic fertilizers in the soil at the edge of the basin. Be careful not to come into direct contact with the root, because if the root is glued with fertilizer, it will rot. During the growing period, liquid fertilizer can also be applied. All kinds of cakes can be fermented with water, and then diluted into fertilizer liquid with 10 times of water, about once every half a month. The simplest method is to use a chemical fertilizer with a relatively comprehensive content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, with a concentration of 0.025% to 0.1%, that is, it is more appropriate to use 1, 3, Mel, 1 and 4 of ordinary herbaceous flowers. In addition, spraying pesticides can also add a small amount of chemical fertilizer to the leaves, which also has a certain effect.
Orchids are most afraid of excessive fertilization, beginners can apply extremely thin organic fertilizer, so as not to "plant flowers without blooming".
