Edible alkali can cure white silk disease of orchids.

Last year, a pot of my autumn vegetables developed white silk disease. Due to the angle of the orchid basin, hyphae were found all over the basin surface. When the height of about 15 cm of the grass, the base of all rot, a pull up;100% of the parent grass pseudo-bulbs, disease spots have penetrated the ball meat; more than 90% of the ancestral pseudo-bulbs, there are different degrees of disease spots. It's hard to see a good hidden bud.

According to the convention, this pot of autumn vegetable and pot soil should be completely destroyed. I washed the bluegrass and divided it into three groups according to the condition. The first group is lucky not infected a few seedlings of old grass, the second group of corm cortex has different sizes of disease spots, the third group is discarded objects, disease spots have penetrated the ball meat. Under the inspiration that lime can prevent white silk disease, I chose the additive of edible alkali processing steamed bread. For the first and second groups, after soaking the leaves in 1.5% alkali for one minute, soaking the parts below the base for 20 minutes, washing them with tap water, drying them in the shade for 12 hours, and putting them into pots respectively. In the treatment of the third group, I found that there was a false bulb of Miaofu grass that was especially large, thick as a thumb, and there was a light brown spot the size of bean on the soil surface. I used my nails to pick off the rotten flesh until I picked off some good flesh. At this time, only 2/3 of the fake ball is left, leaving two leaves and two broken legs. Also treat it with the above method and plant another pot. 7 to 10 days after planting, the first and second groups successively sent out new buds. The grass was weak in that year, but it had grown into strong grass last spring. In the third group, the remnant plant with only 2/3 ball meat unexpectedly grew a new bud, but the overwintering grass that grew to an inch also grew a new seedling, growing slightly weaker, and now the seedling height is more than 20 cm.
