Scientific fertilization method of Orchid
Orchids that grow luxuriantly and without disease can be fertilized, while those with poor growth can not be fertilized or a small amount of fertilizer. The new orchid roots dug up from the mountain must not be fertilized before they are sent out. They need to be cultivated for 1-2 years and fertilized only when the new roots are exuberant, otherwise they are easy to die.
Generally speaking, when the orchid leaf bud extends about 1.5 cm from June to July, the thin and rotten liquid fertilizer can be applied 1-2 times (chemical fertilizer is not suitable), but it is not suitable to apply fertilizer in the high temperature season. From August to September, 1-2 times of mature and thin liquid fertilizer were applied. The plant ash extract of vegetarian orchids can be applied for 1-2 times, and the effect is very good. The best time to fertilize is in the evening, and water again the next morning.
An easier way to tell whether orchids need to be fertilized is to look at the color of the leaves. The leaf is yellow and thin is lack of fertilizer, should be topdressing; the leaf is black and the leaf tip is scorched is too much fertilizer, should stop fertilization.
Fertilizer, you can use the various methods described above to make fertilizer. When applying these fertilizers, you need to add water 8-9 times dilution, must not be too strong. When applying fertilizer, it should be applied to the rhizosphere of the plant, not on the leaf surface.
