1. Wound prevention: transplant, change basin or ramet out of bottle, soak roots, stems and leaves in fungicide solution (chlorothalonil, carbendazim, methyl thiophanate, etc.) for 20 minutes to prevent bacteria from invading, and watering every 1-2 days after transplantation is better.

2. Disinfection of old pots: in principle, new pots should be used for orchids. If old pots are used, disinfectants should be used first and then used.

3, the flowerpot is not too big: small seedlings plant large pots, on the one hand, the amount of plant material is too much, it is easy to lead to poor ventilation; in addition, water is not easy to be uniform. If too wet, the plant material is not easy to dry, bacteria are easy to infect, resulting in root rot.

4. Shallow planting of orchid plants: orchid plants should not be deeply planted, and the long-term dampness of the base is easy to cause soft rot. When planting, the plant material to fill the root, base or pseudo-bulb must be exposed and not buried in the plant material.

5. Location of new buds: when growing orchids, the new buds should be placed in the middle of the pot, which seems to be crooked for the time being, but in the future the new buds will grow up and blossom in the middle of the pot.

6. root location: when planting, the orchid roots spread evenly around, do not accumulate with each other, so that each root can contact the plant material, good ventilation, otherwise it is easy to cause rotten roots.

7, plant fixed: the orchid plant can not be deeply planted, so it often appears the phenomenon of crumbling, so it must be fixed with pillars and thread bands, so that it will not shake, so as not to hurt the roots.

8. Pressing plant material: orchid plant material requires ventilation and good drainage, such as water moss, coconut bran and so on. It should be pressed slightly after planting, otherwise the space at the base is too large and the root grows poorly. The correct way is to compact from both sides, not from above.

9. Watering time: for newly planted orchids, the roots may be injured, and the wound is coated with fungicides. No watering or less watering within 2-3 days can achieve the efficacy and promote the growth of new buds and roots. This is the difference between orchids and other herbaceous flowers.

10. Avoid strong light: newly planted orchids should avoid strong sunlight to prevent excessive dehydration and should be placed in a cool place. Spray properly to increase air humidity until the orchid plant returns to normal growth.
