Last Updated: 2024/11/06, We should pay attention to the way of conservation, give it enough light, then cover it with shade, water it once a month, and wait until Yushu grows to about 15 centimeters to prune or cut off the top to promote branches. Multiple pots of plants can also be made by inserting leaves.

First, pay attention to maintenance methods

1. It usually needs enough light in order not to grow in vain, but it should not be given too much light, and it must be properly shaded when the summer sun is too strong.

2. As for watering it, once a month is enough. Don't water it too much.

3. When breeding it, the soil should be selected in its own way, it is more suitable for loose sandy soil, and the drainage of flowerpots must be OK.

4. When Yushu grows to about 15 centimeters, it is necessary to prune or cut off the top to promote branches, to avoid only allowing branches and leaves to be exposed to light, and to follow these steps to basically ensure its normal growth and not to make it grow in vain.

(2) Leaf cutting propagation

Through this method, a pot of such plants can be reproduced, and it will not grow in vain. First of all, the thicker leaves should be placed directly on the soil without watering, and then put it in a dry and ventilated place, not directly in the sun. In that case, it will take a month or two for it to sprout and root. What needs to be paid attention to is to pick healthier and sturdy leaves.

3. Stem cutting propagation

This method is also a way to regain a healthy plant. First of all, use a sterilized knife to cut off a stem, make sure that each stem has at least two growth nodes, then put the stem in a ventilated shade to dry for two days, and then cut it into the soil after the edge of the knife dries. Pay attention to cutting the growing softwood cuttings and ensure that the soil has a certain amount of moisture after cutting so that it can take root in 20-30 days. After cutting off a section of the stem, the remaining bottom rhizome leaves a small stump of about seven centimeters, and it won't be long before the new leaves will grow back.
