At a national training course on family farm work held in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Jilin Province, du Zhixiong, deputy director of the Institute of Agricultural Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said that the monitoring data would be collected in the form of a questionnaire, covering nearly 100 issues such as the basic situation of family farms, labor, cultivated land and production, and daily management.

The monitoring will adopt the combination of regular statistics and typical surveys, and the monitoring software will be developed by the Institute of Rural Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences to monitor and statistics the operation of family farms and form an annual report on the development of family farms on an annual basis. The Department of Economics and Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Institute of Rural Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences focus on the sampling survey of family farms in the scope of monitoring.
