Ministry of Agriculture: vegetable exports increased by 9.0% in the first half compared with the same period last year

Of this total, exports were US $33.77 billion, up 5.7% over the same period last year; imports were US $63.87 billion, up 15.3% over the same period last year; and the trade deficit was US $30.1 billion, up 28.5% over the same period last year. Vegetables: from January to June, the export value is 5.95 billion US dollars

1-6 In January, China's agricultural imports and exports amounted to 97.64 billion US dollars, up 11.8% year-on-year. Among them, exports were US $33.77 billion, up 5.7% year-on-year; imports were US $63.87 billion, up 15.3% year-on-year; trade deficit was US $30.10 billion, up 28.5% year-on-year.

Vegetables: From January to June, exports amounted to US $5.95 billion, up 9.0% year-on-year; imports amounted to US $270 million, up 33.6% year-on-year; trade surplus amounted to US $5.68 billion, up 8.1% year-on-year.

Fruit: From January to June, exports amounted to US $2.53 billion, down 6.3% year-on-year; imports amounted to US $2.83 billion, up 19.3% year-on-year; trade deficit was US $300 million, compared with a surplus of US $330 million in the same period last year.
