Those with vermiculite or perlite can also be mixed with soil to increase air permeability. If there are no two kinds of particles, they will be in accordance with the proportion of 2:1.

After a period of drying, the selected leaves can be placed on the soil surface.

The process of drying leaves is to prevent black water from rotting. But I am very impatient, every time I put it directly on the soil surface, during which black rotten water often appears, but there are so many leaves that I don't care, ! Leaves are placed in many ways, some like to be flat, (I am), some like to insert the growing point into the soil, and some like to insert on the side.

The benefits of lateral insertion are suitable for thin leaves, and the phenomenon of tilting at both ends will be found for a period of time. At this time, the leaves are inserted sideways into the soil, which is closer to the moisture of the soil and more conducive to rooting.

Then there is the process of waiting for roots to sprout.

During this period, we should spray water on the leaf soil surface every day, such as spray-like moisture on it. About twice a day, the soil surface will not be too dry and promote the rapid rooting of the growing point.

About a week or so, the leaves sprout and root one after another, some will take longer, don't worry, it's a matter of time. Some first root, then bud, or first bud and then root, do not worry, first root, lack of light, first bud, soil lack of moisture.

After the leaves are planted, it is the process of maintenance. at this time, extra care is taken. When the water is large, it is easy to melt water, and the growing point of the old leaves is easy to be infected by fungi. Therefore, it is recommended to use a sharp-nosed kettle for water supply near the budding point.

Wait until the root system is stronger, appropriately increase the watering frequency, I always see the soil surface dry on watering, master the amount of water, do not give too much at a time.

After a few months, the leaf cuttings became crowded. Some of the mother leaves are consumed into dead leaves, and some are full and round. The withered leaves fall off as soon as they are touched, and they can be picked out. The round mother leaves can be slowly shaken and taken down, and the secondary leaves can be inserted.

When the width of the leaf crown is about three or four centimeters, you can move the seedlings and choose the appropriate pot. Transplant seedlings with original soil as far as possible to keep the root system from being damaged.

With the continuous growth and growth of the seedlings, the pots are also changed, about once a year in the Spring and Autumn period.
