The number of AWE2018 exhibitors has reached a record high this year, reaching 462 according to official figures.

Through data analysis, we look at two questions: who is the strongest city in home appliances and consumer electronics in China? Who is stronger in the Yangtze River Delta or the Pearl River Delta?

We can see some clues from the regional distribution of 462 exhibitors.

From the provincial point of view, Guangdong Province is the largest, with 156 exhibitors, of which Shenzhen alone accounts for 51.

It can be said that there is no doubt that Shenzhen is the strongest city in China's home appliance consumer electronics industry. Guangdong is the strongest province in the industry.

Zhejiang Province, in second place, has 98 exhibitors, 1/3 less than Guangdong Province. does this imply that the leading position of home appliance manufacturers before the Yangtze River Delta has not been guaranteed? Let's take a look:

As the home venue, there are 50 exhibitors in Shanghai and 39 exhibitors in Jiangsu Province, bringing the total number of exhibitors in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta to 187.

Guangdong plus 11 exhibitors in Fujian, the total number of exhibitors in the Pearl River Delta region is 167.

From the total amount, we can see that the Yangtze River Delta is still ahead by a weak advantage, but from the future development trend, the Pearl River Delta will quickly catch up with and surpass the Yangtze River Delta.
