The government promotes many policies to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas and promote rural development, including local creation, rural regeneration, and so on. "but in what form should we present the rural style of the next stage?" Lin Congxian, chairman of the Council of Agriculture, said that the model of sustainable rural development is the answer. Through a series of gold medal rural election activities to make a complete inventory and drive, Taiwan's rural development still needs to be completed in many stages.

The Council of Agriculture held the "first Gold Rural Competition". From 707 rural communities across Taiwan, 22 rural communities were selected for the final trial. Today (26), the names of gold, silver and bronze medals were officially announced, and President Tsai ing-wen also presented awards at the scene. The gold medal winning communities are Gongrong Community and Ankang Community, Sanzhi District, New Taipei City, Nanpu Community, Beipu Township, Hsinchu County, and Yongan Community, Luye Township, Taitung County. The community will receive a prize of 500000 and visit rural Germany.

The community will receive a prize of 500000 and visit rural Germany.

Silver medal winning communities are Yilan County Yuanshan Township Inner City Community, Miaoli County Gongguan Township Golden Town Leisure Agriculture area, Miaoli County Dahu Township Jiang Ma Yuan Leisure Agriculture area, Tainan City Houbi District Shi'an Community, can receive a prize of 300000.

The bronze medal winning communities are Sanhe Community, Longtan District, Taoyuan City, Dayou Community, Puyan Township, Changhua County, Yixin Community, Puli Town, Nantou County, Nanfeng Community, Renai Township, Nantou County, Houzhuang Community, Taibao City, Chiayi County, No Mile Community, Houbi District, Tainan City, Longmu Community, Dashu District, Kaohsiung City, and Fuxing Community, Ruisui Township, Hualien County, will receive a prize of 200000.

The whole village is fallow for a year to repair the water channel together! The elder farmers in Nanpu community formed a team and won the gold medal in the countryside.
