How to change the basin in Yushu

Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Time: except for the cold winter, but it is best to do it in March or April. Method: first of all, take it out of the original basin, together with the root clods, put it into a slightly larger basin filled with new soil, and then fill it with new soil.

When should the new basin be replaced

1. There is no great emphasis on this, because its life is relatively strong, as long as it is careful not to hurt its roots.

2. If it must be fastidious, it is best to do it in early spring. After changing a new basin, put it in a bright area for maintenance, and wait until seven days later to recover.

3. This kind of tree is not very demanding for time, so it can be replaced with a new basin from spring to autumn, but if it is relatively large, it is best to change it in March or April of every year.

2. Methods

1. First find a basin that is larger than before, then take it out of the original basin, and pay attention to keeping part of the soil at the bottom of it, which can make its roots less vulnerable to injury.

2. Then put a layer of soil under its new basin, then put it in with the soil on the root, and finally fill it around it.

Matters needing attention

1. If there are conditions at home, you can add some rotten leaves or livestock droppings to the soil, so that you don't have to go to the market to buy nourishing soil.

2. The soil in the basin should be at least one centimeter shorter than the basin, so that the water will not overflow when it is sprinkled. If the temperature is about 10 degrees at this time, you don't have to sprinkle it until the temperature rises, otherwise its roots will rot. Don't worry too much, even if you don't sprinkle it for a year, it won't die.

Of course, it's best not to give it a new basin in the cold winter, unless you have plenty of heating and your climate can be sunny from time to time.
