1. Conservation of the environment

In summer, you can choose to raise it under shade or in a cool room. Although ivy does not have too many requirements for the surrounding environment, it is still not conducive to the growth of rattan in the high temperature of summer. It must not be placed in the sun for a long time. It is best to move ivy to a cool room during summer. Ivy more suitable environmental conditions are to maintain the temperature of 20℃ during the day, maintain the temperature of 18℃ at night, ambient air humidity to maintain not less than 80%, such a maintenance environment can be very good to help Ivy summer.

2. Moisture requirements

Pay special attention to maintaining the moisture level of the vine leaves. In summer, due to the large amount of evaporation on vine leaves, intermittent spraying on leaves is needed to maintain humidity. You can choose to use a fine mist nozzle or wipe the leaves with a slightly wet clean cotton cloth to keep the leaves moist for a period of time. Spray again after the water film on the surface is dry.

3, watering method

In terms of water management, watering should be dry and wet, avoid excessive moisture in the basin soil, if there is accumulated water, it must be dumped in time, otherwise it will cause vine root rot and vine leaves fall off. In summer, you can avoid the high temperature period at noon, choose early morning or after the sun sets time is more suitable for watering ivy, watering and fertilizing can be alternately carried out.

4. Soil composition

Master soil properties and avoid using alkaline soil for cultivation. Can choose to add the right amount of coconut shell in the cultivation base, can also be mixed with pastoral soil or plant ash, keep the pH value of the soil between 5.7-5.9, in addition to try to keep the soil loose, if you add some soil containing more potassium will be conducive to the growth of ivy in summer, to avoid using high salinity soil.
