The 2018 first National Bonsai Master and BCI International Bonsai Master works Exhibition is about to kick off in Shanghai Botanical Garden, detonating the hot spot of Shencheng bonsai and focusing on national industry boutiques. Chinese bonsai masters and BCI international bonsai masters are the backbone and leading figures of Chinese bonsai, and have played an important role in promoting the development of Chinese bonsai, promoting the exchange of bonsai between China and foreign countries, and enhancing the international status of Chinese bonsai. The purpose of this activity is to bring together master masterpieces, show master elegant demeanor, build a high-end platform for exchange and cooperation in bonsai industry, promote exchanges between masters of various schools, and promote the development of bonsai cause in our country. At the same time, it will also offer a gluttonous feast of bonsai for the people of Shanghai and even the whole country.

The first exhibition featuring the fine works of national bonsai masters

For the first time, China has held a bonsai exhibition featuring the protagonist of the national bonsai master. All the participating bonsai are made by national bonsai masters, representing the highest level in the industry. During the exhibition, we will also organize the on-site production performance of masters, self-evaluation and mutual exchange of master works, master promotion class training, master review and assessment meeting and complete the evaluation of the fifth batch of Chinese bonsai art masters. Bonsai is a living work of art that integrates science, technology, literature, painting and emotion. To become a bonsai master, you need to study and practice for a long time in various aspects, such as skill, aesthetics, science, art, virtue and so on.

Invite national bonsai art masters to participate in the exhibition

The works of 50 Chinese bonsai masters and BCI international bonsai masters will be on display in this exhibition, including the late Shanghai-style bonsai master, Master Yin Zimin, the pioneer of bonsai in Shanghai Botanical Garden, and famous bonsai educator he Yisun, as well as Pan Zhonglian, the second batch of national bonsai masters who have passed the age of Zhan Dynasty (86 years old), all of whom are presented by their children or units. The total number of bonsai masters participating in the exhibition, the large scale of the exhibition and the high quality of the exhibits can be called the highest in the industry.

Show the unique charm of bonsai

Bonsai is a living sculpture, which recreates life according to the law of plant growth. In the exhibition, there are master works from all over the world, including vigorous and natural Lingnan bonsai, Panqu colorful Sichuan bonsai, elegant Su style bonsai, solemn Yangzhou bonsai, lively and smooth Shanghai-style bonsai, simple and peculiar Anhui bonsai, majestic Zhejiang bonsai, Rugao bonsai with beautiful waist, magnificent northern bonsai, rapidly developing southwest bonsai, all exquisite and fascinating.

The exhibition embodies the characteristics of bonsai in Shanghai Botanical Garden, showing the works of four national bonsai masters trained by the botanical garden, as well as the works of nine bonsai masters in Shanghai, showing the elegant demeanor of bonsai in Shanghai.

Pay attention to the cultivation of master talents

The sustainable development of bonsai is inseparable from the training of follow-up talents, but also from the self-discipline and lead by example of the masters. This exhibition will not only fully appreciate the master's elegant demeanor, but also break the traditional master lifetime system and iron rice bowl. masters who are morally inconsistent and unskilled will be taken off their "hats" and urge them to move forward.
