Common problems and Solutions of raising Tiger Pilan

1. If the water is watered too much and the basin soil is too wet, the accumulation of water will lead to the rotten roots of tiger skin orchid.

2. in this case, first remove the tiger skin orchid from the basin and wash the root with clean water.

3. Cut off the rotten roots with sterilized scissors and be sure to clean them thoroughly, otherwise it will lead to re-infection.

4. Soak the treated tiger skin orchid in carbendazim or 0.1% potassium permanganate solution for half an hour and disinfect it.

5. After sterilization, put the tiger skin orchid in a cool and ventilated place to dry the wound. After drying, put it in clean water to lure the root.

6. After the tiger skin orchid grows a new root, it can be transplanted into a pot.

Rotten leaves:

1. There is also a problem with the way of watering the rotten leaves of Tiger Pilan. What should we do if we encounter it?

2. Cut off the rotten part of the leaf directly. Don't be distressed, or the rotten spot will continue to spread.

3. After cutting off, smear some carbendazim on the wound of the remaining intact tiger skin orchid leaves.

4. when watering in the future, you should be careful not to water the leaves, but try to pour them on the surface of the soil.

Dry yellow soft leaves:

The main results are as follows: 1. Too strong light or too little watering will lead to the problem of dry yellow in the leaves of Hu Pilan.

2. Tiger skin orchid does not need too strong light, otherwise the leaves will become dry and white, pay attention to put them in the place where the scattered light is at home.

3. The leaves of Hu Pilan become soft, generally due to too little watering, which can be watered once in about 15 days.

Lighting:

1. Tiger Pilan is more shady, and the demand for light is not too high. Scattered light can meet the demand.

2. Usually we can put the tiger skin orchid in the living room, and we should pay attention to avoid exposure to the sun and shade in summer.

Watering:

1. Tiger Pilan likes to be wet, but it should not be watered too much, otherwise it will make the leaves too hard.

2. Water can be watered every 10 days in spring and autumn, once every 7 to 10 days in summer, and no watering in winter.

3. If you really don't know whether to water or not, you can dig 2~3cm down from the soil surface. If that part of the soil is dry, it should be watered.

Fertilization:

1. Hu Pilan's requirement for fertilizer is not too high. When the temperature reaches more than 20 ℃, the growth rate of Hu Pilan will accelerate. At this time, we can apply fertilizer to promote growth.

2. Usually pour it with a mixture of rotten rice-panning water and clear water at 1:30.

3. You can also buy compound fertilizer and apply it once a month. Dig a small hole in the edge of the basin and bury 2-3 tablets at a time.

4. If you want to make the leaves greener, we can spray 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaves of Hu Pilan, once every 2-3 weeks.

Soil:

1. The soil of tiger skin orchid should be loose and breathable and have good drainage capacity.

2. Mix rotten leaf soil and river sand at 1:1.
