Hunan this week vegetable prices rebound pork batch zero average price increase expanded

Changsha, August 27 (Reporter Liu Yibin) according to the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce's monitoring of 86 major edible agricultural products in the province from August 20 to 26, compared with the previous week, the prices of 54 kinds of edible agricultural products rose, accounting for 62.79%; 22 kinds decreased, accounting for 25.58%; 10 species were flat, accounting for 11.63%. Among the 11 major categories of products monitored, the prices of food, edible oil, pork, eggs, vegetables, aquatic products, fruits and salt rose, while the prices of white-striped chicken, sugar and milk decreased.

The average wholesale price of vegetables has rebounded. At present, the seasonal vegetables in Hunan have entered a clean-up period and began to change gardens to grow winter vegetables. The market volume of local vegetables has been greatly reduced, while the cost of vegetables purchased from other places is higher, and the prices of all kinds of vegetables have generally risen. This week, the average wholesale price of vegetables in Hunan was 3.31 yuan / kg, up 5.41% from the previous week. Among the 18 varieties monitored, wholesale prices were 14% up, 3% down and 1% flat.

This week, the wholesale prices of vegetables in various cities and states in Hunan are concentrated at 3-4 yuan per kilogram, with the lowest and highest prices being 1.86 yuan / kg and 4.42 yuan / kg respectively. At present, vegetables in the province are in a seasonal stubble change period, vegetable prices have entered a seasonal rising cycle, and vegetable prices are not expected to decline in the short term.

The average retail price of grain rose slightly. This week, the average retail price of grain was 5.72 / kg, up 1.24%; rice in small packages was 5.75 yuan / kg, up 1.41%; and flour in small packages was 5.64 yuan / kg, up 0.71%.

The increase in the average wholesale price of pork expanded. As the hot weather in summer gradually recedes, the consumer demand of pork market heats up, and the increase of pork prices expands. This week, the average wholesale price of pork in Hunan was 20.23 yuan / kg, up 2.53%, or 1.09%, while the average retail price was 22.94 yuan / kg, up 0.79%, or 0.39%. Among them, the average retail price of fresh pork was 21.98 yuan / kg, up 1.01%; the average retail price of lean meat was 25.62 yuan / kg, up 0.27%; and the average retail price of pork belly was 21.23 yuan / kg, up 1.24%. This week, the average wholesale price of fresh beef was 63.49 yuan / kg, down 0.19%; the average wholesale price of fresh mutton was 64.08 yuan / kg, up 3.3%. Colleges and universities are about to start, the Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day, Chongyang and other large festivals will also come one after another, the pig market will gradually come out of the off-season of consumption, pork prices are expected to rise slightly with the rise in pig prices.

The price of white-striped chicken dropped slightly, while the price of eggs rose slightly. This week, the average retail price of white-striped chicken in the province was 19.97 yuan / kg, down 0.05%, while the average retail price of eggs was 11.1 yuan / kg, up 1.74%. The price of eggs rises naturally during the annual mooncake production season, but at present, the stock of laying hens is tight. It is expected that with the start of the school season and the Mid-Autumn Festival in September, the demand for eggs will increase, and the price of eggs will maintain an upward trend.

The average wholesale price of aquatic products rose slightly. This week, the average wholesale price of aquatic products was 20.82 yuan / kg, up 0.29%. The wholesale prices of eight major aquatic products monitored were 3 up, 1 down and 4 flat. The wholesale average prices of carp, grass carp and crucian carp rose by 1.52%, 1.09% and 0.44% respectively, while the prices of silver carp decreased by 0.11%. The prices of large belt fish, small belt fish, large yellow croaker and small yellow croaker are the same.

The average retail price of edible oil rose slightly. This week, the average retail price of barreled cooking oil was 15.49 yuan per liter, up 0.19%. According to varieties, soybean oil 12.37 yuan / liter, down 0.08%; peanut oil 20.59 yuan / liter, up 0.24%; rapeseed oil 15.03 yuan / liter, up 0.4%; blended oil 13.98 yuan / liter, up 0.29%.

The average wholesale price of fruit has risen slightly. This week, the average wholesale price of fruit monitored in Hunan was 5.69 yuan / kg, up 0.53%. The wholesale prices of the six varieties monitored fell 3 and 3, the prices of apples, grapes and pears fell by 0.46%, 2.05% and 0.15% respectively, and the prices of bananas, pineapples and watermelons increased by 3.28%, 5.21% and 1.11%, respectively.

The average retail price of sugar was 8.02 yuan / kg, down 0.12%.

The average retail price of salt was 4.74 yuan / kg, up 3.04%.

The average retail price of milk was 10.91 yuan / liter, down 0.09%.
