Attach great importance to the quality and safety of veterinary drugs and promote the healthy development of veterinary drug industry

On August 26, the National Symposium on Veterinary Medicine Backbone Enterprises was held in Qingdao. Yu Kangzhen, Vice Minister of Agriculture, stressed at the meeting that veterinary drug quality and safety are related to the healthy development of aquaculture and the quality and safety of livestock products. Enterprises should establish correct development concepts, continuously improve the quality and safety level of veterinary drugs, and drive the healthy development of veterinary drug industry.

Yu Kangzhen pointed out that veterinary drug backbone enterprises are the pacesetter of veterinary drug enterprises. We should firmly establish the concept of production and operation according to law, stress integrity and self-discipline, and be a model for law-abiding operation in the industry. In accordance with the principle of "who produces, who is responsible", we should earnestly implement the main responsibility. Strengthen enterprise quality consciousness, upgrade enterprise quality management level and product quality level to a higher level. Strengthen innovation consciousness, take effective measures, and continuously promote technological progress and scientific and technological innovation. Strengthen the sense of integrity, consciously abide by the legal market order, and strictly implement the normative standards. Strengthen corporate social responsibility awareness, advocate strengthening social responsibility management in product production, sales, use and other links, repay society, support public welfare and help poverty in production and operation activities.

Yu Kangzhen stressed that it is necessary to innovate the management system to ensure the healthy development of the veterinary drug industry. It is necessary to accelerate the revision of veterinary drug laws and regulations and further improve the veterinary drug regulatory system. It is necessary to carry out in-depth governance of outstanding problems, take the implementation of the announcement of heavier punishment for veterinary drug violations as an opportunity, strengthen veterinary drug supervision and law enforcement, and always maintain a high-pressure situation. We should promote the construction of a credit system and establish a blacklist system. Accelerate the informatization construction of veterinary drug traceability system, incorporate veterinary drug manufacturers and products into veterinary drug traceability system as soon as possible, and strengthen targeted supervision. Give full play to the role of all social forces, and strive to form a social joint management pattern of veterinary drug supervision departments, quality supervision agencies, production and marketing enterprises and end users.
