Spot check on key seed production bases launched

On August 31st, the second meeting of the national seed base (Zhangye) management coordination leading group 2014 was held in Zhangye City, Gansu Province. The meeting made arrangements for the sampling work of the next key seed production bases.

It is reported that since late August, the seed Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture has sent 11 inspection teams to conduct spot checks on key seed production bases, of which the tasks of spot checks in Xinjiang, Xinjiang Construction Corps, and seed production bases in Hubei Province have been completed. from September 1 to 4, spot checks will be conducted in key areas such as Zhangye City, Jinchang City, Jiuquan City, and Wuwei City in Gansu Province.

Different from the previous "net-pulling" inspection, this spot check focuses on the base fields provided by rights protection enterprises that are involved in unlicensed and infringing production clues, as well as the base fields of the bases, markets and enterprises found by the Ministry of Agriculture in recent years. And check the seed production base information traceability system of Oruijin, Kenfeng, Longping Hi-Tech, Denghai, China, Fengle, Golden Nonghua, Liaoning East Asia, Henan Qiule, Jiangsu Dahua and so on.

The meeting called for focusing on whether the regulatory responsibilities of the regulatory departments are in place, whether management cadres are involved in breaking the law, whether the assigned cases have been effectively handled, the reverse investigation of the handling process of key cases, and the illegal and tort acts of seed enterprises this year.
