The Ministry of Agriculture completes the new layout of the training base for rural practical talents in 2014
On the morning of September 1, the Ministry of Agriculture held the unveiling ceremony of the rural practical talent training base in Fenghuang Village, Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province. Zeng Yichun, a member of the party group of the Ministry of Agriculture and director of the Department of personnel and Labor, attended the unveiling ceremony and presented the agricultural science and technology through train and training equipment to Fenghuang Village.
According to the work arrangement at the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Agriculture will deploy seven new training bases for practical rural talents in 2014. Previously, it has successively unveiled six training bases, including Dayingjie Village in Yunnan, Laojie Village in Hunan, Zhoutaizi Village in Hebei Province, Miaojia Village in Zhejiang Province, Qianjin Village in Gansu Province, and Walnut Ba Village in Guizhou. The unveiling operation of the training base in Fenghuang Village marks the successful completion of the layout of the training base in 2014. In the next step, the Ministry of Agriculture will, in accordance with the needs of the construction of a contingent of practical talents in rural areas, serve the development of modern agriculture and the construction of a new countryside, and constantly intensify its work, combining with the reality of various localities, we will gradually build 1-2 training bases for practical talents in rural areas in each province (autonomous region and city).
At present, relying on these 20 training bases, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Agriculture are centering on the work deployment of the central "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" and the requirements of the construction of rural grass-roots organizations this year. It is divided into six themes, namely, large grain producers, family farms, farmers' cooperatives, university student village officials' entrepreneurship, rural informatization, and beautiful countryside, to arrange the quality and safety of agricultural products and general courses aimed at carrying forward socialist core values and farmers' spirit. We will vigorously carry out exemplary training for leaders of practical talents in rural areas. Throughout the year, 117 demonstration training courses for rural practical talent leaders and university student village officials will be held to train 11600 leaders of various types.
