Jianyang butterfly is lotus orchid side-petal butterfly, plant height is 30-50CM left, leaf width is about 0.6-1.0CM, leaf section is shallow V-shaped, middle and lower part of leaf is deep groove, upper part is flat, leaf venation is obvious, bow shape is curved, thick and hard, color is light green; seedlings unearthed at first, covered with sparse purplish red sand halo, seedling tip has translucent fuchsia crystal tip.

The flower blossoms in late winter and early spring, the flower comes out of the shelf, multi-flower type, 3 flowers per scape, petals and sepals are short, round and thick, nearly half of the side petals are butterfly, pink and white background from bright red patches, there are red halo and irregular red spots, red silk, sharp color contrast, flower shape, flower color stability.

In 1988, a cluster of seedlings was found on the Jianchuan side of Laojun Mountain at the junction of 4247m above sea level in Jianchuan County of Dali, Lijiang, Lanping County of Nujiang Prefecture and Weixi County of Diqing Prefecture. See the peculiar petals, the flower owner specially made a steel cage to plant and protect. Later, it was bought out and developed by Li Jian, a local orchid master and one of the responsible persons of the Orchid Association of Jianchuan County, and identified as a lotus petal orchid butterfly, named Jianyang butterfly, domesticated cultivation and development.

One said that his name got its name from the name of the orchid garden that selected the developer Mr. Li Jian as Jianyang Lanyuan.

It is said that this product gets its name from the famous "Jianyang eight scenes" in Jianchuan-- Zhao Fan, a native of Jianchuan, was a famous calligrapher and scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. His name to the eight scenes of his hometown Jianchuan is: Huading Chaoyang, Dongling Xihui, Sangling ancient wood, Yulong snow pile, Shibao Lingquan, suburban pastoral flute, sea fishing lantern, Haimen autumn, Jianchuan is also known as Jianyang.

However, I have not seen it with my own eyes so far.

This product has the advantages of strong growth, strong stress resistance, less disease, easy to plant, fertilizer and light.

The seedling rate of this product is relatively high, and the annual seedling rate of normal planting is more than 200%. For example, the old grass with one seedling and two unearthed buds introduced by the author in 2004 has sold more than 20 seedlings and still has several seedlings. During the National Day in 2005, the author and several friends went to Dali to buy a pot of Jianyang butterfly from a well-known orchid family, a total of 8 seedlings, and then his wife told us that they bought it in August last year. Of course, not every Jianyang butterfly's seedling rate is so exaggerated, but its seedling rate is indeed higher.

The root system of this product is not many, but it is sturdy, and one of its major characteristics is that the new seedlings grow tall and 15CM grow around.

This product has high reflowering rate, easy to blossom, stable character, stable flower appearance and flower product.

Because of the above advantages, this product is widely loved by the orchid family in Yunnan, and many orchid families have been introduced in Sichuan, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Taiwan and other places outside the province.
