How to control orchid diseases and insect pests without pollution
Orchid is an elegant ornamental plant, which not only has the function of leaf viewing, flower appreciation, fragrance and taste, but also has medicinal and edible value. Like edible plants, it also needs pollution-free pest control methods. Especially for indoor ornamental and medicinal plants (leaves, flowers, nectar), it is more necessary to adopt pollution-free methods to control diseases and insect pests. This paper introduces some pollution-free methods for the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests: first, to establish a good basis for plant resistance to improve the resistance of orchid plants mainly from three aspects: 1, to create an ecological condition that is basically compatible with orchid plants. Reasonable supply and demand, appropriately increase light, ventilation and potassium supply. 2. Mobilize the growth advantage of the plant. Mid-spring, long summer and cool autumn are the growing period of orchid plants. It is time to give full play to the function of each organ of the plant. The root, known as the plant logistics department, is the first organ to be mobilized. When the temperature rises in mid-spring, 500-fold solution of "blue fungus king" or other root-promoting agents should be applied once a day and irrigated for 2 times every 10 days. At the same time, 1000 times of "Plant Power 2003" was sprayed once in mid-spring, long summer and cool autumn to fully mobilize the growth of various organs and strengthen plants. 3. Set up a "security department" to strengthen the defense system. Spray aspirin 1500 times in spring, summer and autumn. This is like setting up a "security department" for the plant, with killers everywhere, effectively ensuring the safe growth of the plant. Second, choose non-polluting agents 1, non-polluting chemical sterilizers (1), and the agents that kill bacterial diseases are: streptomycin 2000ml 3000 times solution, or combined with penicillin, but the concentration is not too high to prevent drug damage. (2) fungicides: chloramphenicol 500 Mel 2000 times solution, oxytetracycline, griseofulvin. (3) the fungicide to kill Pythium: chloramphenicol 500 Mel 2000 times solution. The "Dakening" and "Pikang Cream" of the paste can be used for local smearing or water-soluble spraying. 2. Biological fungicides: garlic, ginger, pepper, tobacco (cigarette butts) leachate 50Mel 100 times liquid spray. Onions and garlic can also be displayed around potted orchids to take their odors and sterilize. 3. Non-polluting chemical insecticides: the 10-fold solution of medical "wind oil essence" and the 30-fold solution of "Mianshiling" used to kill sanitary pests all have a certain insecticidal effect. 4. Biological insecticides: the "turpentine mixture" with 8mi 25 times liquid can kill shell insects, aphids, whitefly, red spiders and other pests and moss. 40 Mel 50 times liquid "cotton oil mud soap" can kill aphids and red spiders. Tobacco (cigarette butts) contains 2% Murray 3% alkali, and 10 Mel 20 times of the extract has the effect of killing aphids and other insect pests.
