Rural greening needs to be adapted to local conditions
In recent years, when carrying out village greening in rural areas, the author found that there was a phenomenon of blindly emphasizing the big landscape and keeping pace with the cities, and some county and city leaders visited the developed areas and saw that some local green plants were very unique. I ordered it to be copied without considering whether it was suitable for introduction. I didn't know that many green plants were not necessarily suitable for introduction, and they spent a lot of money, but they didn't grow up for several years. Some even died in large numbers because of disobedience to soil and water. Some places are keen on planting "hedges" and lawns, and the cost of maintenance is very high, and it is ugly without conservation. As a result, limited by human and financial resources, weeds and "hedges" symbiosis, the effect is not good. In view of this, the author appeals that blind introduction is harmful rather than beneficial, and rural greening should be adapted to local conditions.
In the process of urbanization, rural areas blindly learn urban greening, pursue "high-end", introduce exotic evergreen tree species, add landscape levels, and beautify the rural environment. The original intention is good, but this does not fully consider the characteristics of rural life and agricultural production. Blindly introduce green plants of exotic tree species, only for beautiful appearance, but ignore the functions of rural greening to prevent wind, fix sand and conserve water sources. As a result, greening does not play a practical effect, but there is no place to go if you want to take advantage of the cool in summer. In fact, urban-rural integration is not the homogenization of urban and rural areas, but makes the rural areas equal to the urban level in terms of production and development, residents' income, public services, infrastructure and social security through unified urban and rural planning.
Therefore, in terms of greening, cities can have tree-lined avenues of "one side high, one color green", while rural areas might as well retain the local customs of "peach blossoms have just bloomed two or three branches outside the bamboo forest" to reflect their own characteristics and differences. Cicadas are singing on trees and taking a nap in the shade, which used to be a common sight in rural areas, but now it is becoming more and more rare. In the relevant arrangements for the development of urbanization and the construction of new countryside, the central government proposed that the construction of urbanization in China should be the urbanization of "seeing mountains, seeing water, and remembering homesickness", which is undoubtedly a very timely reminder to the construction of new countryside. Therefore, to carry out afforestation and beautify the environment in rural areas, we must act according to the actual situation and act according to our capacity, and we must not introduce species blindly. When carrying out the annual greening work, all localities should make plans as soon as possible, adjust measures to local conditions, and develop more local seedling cultivation. Only in this way can the "roots" of greening be firmly rooted, and lay a good foundation for the construction of beautiful villages.
