The total number of registered trademarks of agricultural products in China has reached 1.25 million.

Chen Xiaohua pointed out that with the promotion of the agricultural sector, various localities have actively carried out the cultivation of agricultural brands, strengthened the certification of pollution-free products, green food and organic food, and the registration and protection of geographical indications of agricultural products, and increased the promotion of brand marketing. China's agricultural brand construction has made positive progress.

Data show that at the end of 2008, the total number of registered trademarks of agricultural products in China was still 600000, which has doubled in five years.

"almost all the major agricultural countries and agricultural powers in the world are agricultural brand powers and agricultural brand powers. China has a vast territory, rich products, and obvious regional and differential characteristics of agricultural products. China has the natural advantages and unique conditions to build excellent agricultural brands." Chen Xiaohua said.

Zhu Baocheng, president of the China Association for the Development and Service of High-quality Agricultural products, said that at present, no matter from the macro level of national modernization or from the micro level of modern agricultural development practice, there are relatively mature conditions for the implementation of agricultural brand strategy. China should seize this historical opportunity and spare no effort to promote the implementation of China's agricultural brand strategy.

The International Symposium on Brand Agricultural Development, sponsored by the China Association of High quality Agricultural products Development Service and other organizations, has been successfully held for three times so far. At this seminar, government officials, experts and entrepreneurs from 17 countries and regions discussed in depth the development trend of global brand agriculture and the development path of brand agriculture in China.
