Taiwan International Orchid Show will be held on June 6th.

It is reported that orchid export increased against the trend. Last year, Taiwan exported US $86.8 million of orchids and US $63.87 million of Phalaenopsis. The year before last, the export value of all orchids was US $80.85 million, of which Phalaenopsis was US $52.23 million. Compared with the year before last, orchid export increased by 7.4% and Phalaenopsis increased by 22.3%.

In order to ensure the sustainable development of Taiwan's orchid industry, the 2010 Taiwan International Orchid Exhibition will display more than 3000 species of orchids in the Taiwan Orchid Biotechnology Park in Houbi Township, Tainan County. In response to the brilliant achievements in the overseas development of Taiwan's orchids, the Xinguang Sanyue department store, the largest chain in Taiwan, has bought 6,000 or 7,000 white orchids and arranged all the stores in Taiwan in response to the recent launch of women's goods.

Chou Pao-wen, manager of Xinguang Sanyue, points out that these flowers come from Niuji Farm, Taiwan's largest domestic orchid farm. Using these beautiful Phalaenopsis to decorate various stores can not only create a sense of fashion space, but also respond to the vigorous development of Taiwan's home-grown flowers.
