Mud is still recommended, because mud can maintain its own fertility for a long time and promote the normal reproduction of some beneficial algae and microorganisms, which are natural shrimp food, which can not be replaced by any tool shrimp food. and the mud itself has a certain effect of cultivating bacteria.

Cylinder block: shrimp is easy to reproduce when the cylinder block is relatively small.

Water quality: it is best not to use tap water, use pure water, and add the minerals needed in the water quality later.

Nitrifying bacteria: choose a single nitrifying bacteria, if you use the previous filter material, nitrifying bacteria can not be used.

Lighting: you can choose either LED lamp or T5 lamp (depending on your personal situation)

First of all, distinguish between thick and fine particles, using an ordinary bottom filter plate, the pulverization will be much faster after sieving, and the sifted particles are just the right size, but ADA sieves will produce more fine particles.

Secondly, keep a moist state inside the cylinder to prevent the pulverization of water grass mud; the moisture content can exceed 5 to 10cm.

Then replace the water, fill it with water and release nitrifying bacteria, and tap water can be used in the initial stage.

Then you can turn on the filtration system, or even connect a water leprechaun, and you can consider putting an apple snail. At first, the effect of removing algae is very good.

The light can be turned on after a week. LED suggested that the time to turn on the light should be controlled between 8h~12h, which may make the bacterial membrane appear in the cylinder and show a white state, which is not a big deal.

After that, replace all the water again; fill it up with water to add explosive oxygen to the water surface.

After this state is controlled for a period of time, do not change the water, change 80% of the pure water in about 35 days, this is that NO3 will break out on a large scale, and then it will tend to be stable, and the most effective way to solve it is to change the water. At this time, the nitrification system is very stable, even if the water is not a problem.
