According to the analysis of market early warning experts of the Ministry of Agriculture, considering factors such as population, income increase and export demand, it is expected that China's cotton consumption will remain at a high level in the future, while the area and output of inland cotton areas are decreasing, production is further concentrated in western cotton areas, cotton areas in the Yellow River Basin and Yangtze River Basin are gradually shrinking, and there is a gap between market supply and demand; As far as this year's situation is concerned, the state has stopped putting in reserve cotton, and at the same time may strengthen import and export regulation to make room for new cotton sales.

At present, Xinjiang new cotton has begun to market sporadically, textile enterprises continue to make up for a small amount of stock. Experts suggest that textile enterprises according to the production schedule, timely arrangements for cotton raw material procurement and replenishment.
