Orchid hydroponic cultivation is easy to learn and master. There are six main steps:

1. Choose a special hydroponic pot. A special hydroponic flowerpot (water capacity between 1.5 kg and 6 kg) with no holes at the bottom and double-layer net cover pot type inside and outside is used for hydroponic orchid cultivation. The outer pot contains culture solution, the inner pot is a square net sieve, the mesh specification is 2cm×2cm, and the ribs between the meshes are fixed objects for supporting bulbs and holding orchid plants, such as stones or sponges.

2. Transplant orchid. Pull up the orchid plants planted in the soil, remove rotten roots and old roots. When the roots are too much and inconvenient to implant in the inner sieve, scissors can be used to cut off some roots closely to the bulbs, and then wash the mud and dirt stained on the roots with clean water.

3. Disinfection. It is best to disinfect the plant before planting in hydroponic pots. Immerse the whole plant in potassium permanganate solution for 10-15 minutes with potassium permanganate 100PPm, then take it out and rinse the potassium permanganate solution with clean water.

4. planted in hydroponic pots. Divide the roots into two or three groups, insert them into two or three sieve holes, pull the roots that have passed through the sieve holes slightly by hand, and make the bulbs close to the cross ribs in the center between the sieve holes.

5. Fixed orchid. Use one hand to straighten the orchid plant, and the other hand to clean the 3cm×5cm stone (used for pouring cement floor), put it around the plant and shake it slightly, and the orchid plant will be fixed in the center of the inner sieve (sponge can also be used as the fixation of the orchid plant).

6. Add culture medium. Rinse the fixing stone again with clean water, fill the outer basin with clean water (drinking water can be used as planting water), and put orchid culture solution (Meihui brand aquatic orchid culture solution) into the water. So the transplant is complete.
