In this anti-typhoon campaign, the Chinese Academy of Thermal Sciences made careful arrangements, urgently launched emergency plans, acted quickly, braved the wind and rain to step up disaster relief and rescue, took active precautions beforehand and acted quickly afterwards, and reduced disaster losses to a minimum. There were no casualties.

Before the arrival of the typhoon, the Chinese Academy of Thermal Sciences attached great importance to defense work and worked out a plan in time, and President Wang Qinghuang held a meeting to make arrangements in person. According to the work deployment, the hospital units quickly carry out actions to strengthen seedlings, trim tree crowns, fix doors and windows, and take preventive measures against laboratories and offices.

After the disaster, the Chinese Academy of Thermal Sciences immediately held a video conference to deploy post-disaster self-rescue and scientific and technological relief work. President Wang Qinghuang fully affirmed the achievements made by the staff of the hospital in preventing typhoons, mobilized big families to actively carry out emergency repair and self-rescue, restore scientific research, production order and living environment as soon as possible, and at the same time, combined with the local disaster situation and the needs of scientific and technological disaster relief, organize scientific and technological personnel to rush to Wenchang, Haikou, Danzhou, Wanning, Zhanjiang and other disaster-stricken areas in time to carry out technical guidance services. To help restore agricultural production after the disaster. Secretary Lei Maoliang hopes that all units under the hospital will comprehensively sum up the experience of wind resistance and disaster relief, constantly improve their ability to deal with and control risks, and require them to actively dock with production teams and provide technical support services around the post-disaster needs of the proving sites. at the same time, we should take the initiative to understand the needs of the disaster areas and do a good job in scientific and technological disaster relief operations.

On September 16, before the typhoon completely passed through, all the cadres and workers of the logistics service center braved the wind and rain to clean up the broken branches, clear the road, discharge flood and emergency in time, and rush to repair the circuit. Institutions affiliated to the Institute of quality and Capital, the Institute of Rubber, and the Institute of South Asia have also actively organized cadres and workers to participate in the rescue of scientific research and experimental materials.
