The daily maintenance should be taken care of before and during the flowering period in order to grow better.

Whether it can be put indoors

If it is its flower arrangement, of course it can be put indoors, but it needs to be changed from time to time. If it is a potted plant, try not to put it indoors, it itself has no adverse effect, but after a long time, it will grow a lot of small bugs, which is not very good for the environment. And it likes the sun, if it is often placed in the house, it will grow crazy, the leaves will turn yellow, but it will not grow flowers, so it is best to put it on the balcony outside the house.

II. Daily maintenance

Before growing flowers

1, it can grow to 3 meters high, is a sunflower, the whole body, including roots, leaves, flowers and fruits, a total of five parts.

2. It likes enough light and has a strong directionality. If the sun is strong, it will not grow only and the seedlings will grow strong.

3. After its emergence, the soil should be kept moist at the beginning, and then dry and wet after it has grown 2 true leaves. When it has grown 4 or 5 true leaves and the temperature is between 15 and 30 ℃, fertilize it.

4. Before its flowers appear, add nitrogen fertilizer to it, and after the flowers appear, add phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. It is necessary to reduce the frequency of watering in spring and increase the number of times in hot seasons, and each watering should be thoroughly watered.

Long flowering period

1. It has already grown flowers, so it does not need to be fertilized any more. If it is fertilized during its flowering period, it is likely to have a bad effect on its flowers.

2, it is best to wait for a period of time, and then consider fertilization, you can add some more phosphorus and potassium-rich compound fertilizer, which can make its fruit mature faster.

3. After its flowering period is over, the outermost yellow petals will fall off by themselves. If no insects pollinate it on the flowering day, it can be done manually. Wipe its disk with a softer towel or cotton swab every day and you can get seeds.

4. It usually lasts for ten days, the first day is called the early flowering stage, and the second to sixth day is the period of full flowering. This period is the best time for pollination. The seventh day is the last flowering time, and the number of long flowers decreases slowly. At this time, pollination will not have a great effect.

5. When its involucre turns yellow, it can be picked. At this time, the petals have fallen off, the seeds are also very full, and it has grown completely.
