How to make carnations blossom quickly
1. Light and temperature
If you want the plant to blossom quickly, the first thing to ensure is plenty of light and proper temperature. The most suitable temperature range for this plant is from thirteen to twenty-five degrees. There is also light, and it is best to keep it in six to eight hours a day. In this way, its flowering speed will be accelerated. If the guarantee is not good, not to mention blooming, its leaves may wither.
2. Moisture
In this respect, we have to grasp the quantity and frequency of water supply. It can be seen that the surface of the basin soil is dry and then watered and thoroughly at one time. In other words, we need to take a special look at the state of the soil and not leave it unwatered for a long time. Of course, the soil should not be watered too much. Otherwise, the roots of the plant may rot and blossom quickly. In addition, the wetness of the air should be controlled at about 75%.
3. Fertilizer
If you want it to bloom quickly, it must not be enough to rely on nutrients extracted from the soil. Generally speaking, we have to use liquid fertilizer every ten days or so. By doing so, it can be promoted to bloom. However, this is not an absolute thing. When it is hottest in summer, it is best to suspend the application. Otherwise, the plant is likely to wither.
4. Pruning
Proper pruning can not only make it blossom quickly, but also increase the number of flowers. Specifically, when the plant grows to around 15 cm to 20 cm, the top can be removed, leaving only six or seven lateral buds. Then, when the plant is pregnant with buds, only one is left, and the other lateral buds are removed. In doing so, the plant will become full of flowers.
