Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Peach blossoms usually open in March. During flowering maintenance, it should not be placed in a cold place, and the room temperature should be controlled at 18 to 23 ℃. In addition, it should be given enough sunshine to ensure that enough nutrients are produced by photosynthesis every day, specifically 12 hours a day. As for watering, we need to ensure that the soil is breathable, dry, not too wet, watering should be controlled, if stagnant water will cause hypoxia and rot in the roots. Peach blossoms like to live in acidic flower soil, and the PH of flower soil lower than 4 or higher than 8 will seriously affect their growth, so it is appropriate to choose acid light loam soil with non-sticky soil.

1. Temperature

Peach blossom has a wide range of temperature adaptation. Its flowering time is in March, and the whole flowering time is March and April. Therefore, it can keep the ambient temperature between 18 and 23℃, which is more conducive to the continuous flowering of flowers than the climate in spring.

2. Light

It is a kind of flower with strong photophilicity. It must be planted in an unobstructed place when cultivated. It cannot be raised in a cold place. In this way, it can receive enough light every day to facilitate photosynthesis of leaves to produce nutrients and provide sufficient nutrients for subsequent flowering. It is best to ensure that the illumination time is about twelve hours a day.

3. Watering

It prefers dry environments, drought tolerance, but poor waterlogging tolerance. Too much rain or too much moisture in the soil over a long period of time can cause excessive shoot growth and hinder flower bud formation, let alone prolong flowering. Every day watering should be based on the principle of not watering, watering amount should also be strictly controlled, water content to maintain half moisture is good.

4. Soil

It has a strong ability to accept soil, it can accept the general nature of the soil, neutral, acidic soil is appropriate. It is not tolerant to alkaline soils, and when the pH of the soil is below 4 or above 8, it will seriously affect its growth. In terms of soil texture, it is not suitable for survival in loam soil that is too viscous, and should be cultivated with sandy light loam soil with good drainage, strong permeability and fertility.
