Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Many people like orchids, but most people don't know that there are actually several kinds of orchids, but each has its own differences, such as spring orchids and Whelan, which have great differences, one in its petiole ring, the other in its number of leaves, the third is that its veins are very different, and finally its flowers are also very different.

Petiole ring

The petiole ring is the difference between them, which is obvious. In fact, Chunlan has this kind of thing, but Huilan does not have it at all.

Leaf number

The number of leaves is also very different, the former leaves are very rough, very wide and very long. The latter is softer, narrower and shorter than the former. The number of Chunlan leaves is only about four or five, while Huilan has more leaves, at least seven, and a maximum of fifteen.

Leaf vein

Huilan's leaf veins are actually very distinctive. If we look at the flowers facing the light, we can develop that they will have very dense veins and are transparent, with a number of about seven to nine. On the other hand, the back of the leaf of Huilan has protruding edges, and if it is facing the light, it will have translucent edges.

Flowers

The flowers of Chunlan are relatively few, there is usually only one flower on a sword, and there are two flowers when there are more. The number of Huilan is much more. Generally speaking, there are many flowers in a sword, probably between six and twelve. Generally speaking, this is the orchid with the largest number of flowers, of course, it is still the orchid in China, not all the flowers, and its stalk is relatively thick.

Flowering time, the former is usually in February or March, while the latter is in March to May. All in all, there are still many differences between them, so it is OK for us to distinguish them carefully.
