What if the buttercup leaves turn yellow?

Last Updated: 2024/11/06, There are four reasons for buttercup, one is its water yellow, the second is fat yellow, the third is dry yellow, and the fourth is alkali yellow. If the water is yellow, we need to control watering and move it to a cool place; if it is fat, we need to wash away the extra flower fertilizer with water; if it is dry and yellow, we need to replenish it in time; if it is alkali yellow, we need to add some vinegar to it.

1. Water yellow

To put it bluntly, we watered a lot of water, resulting in water accumulation in the soil for a long time, poor air permeability, rotting roots, and generally realized that its tender leaves were relatively dim, and there was no luster, and the new shoots slowly shrunk.

Solution: usually at this time we have to control the amount of water, move it to a cool place, or take it off the basin to dry and put it in.

2. Fat yellow

If we give it too much fertilizer, its old leaves will slowly wither and turn yellow, and the new leaves will be thick but will not stretch.

Solution: if this is the case, we can sprinkle Chinese cabbage or radish seeds on it, and when it grows, we can consume its nutrients. Or we can just wash the fertilizer away with water. In fact, the fertilizer we apply to it can also be controlled well, generally using dolomite and so on will be very good.

This is mainly because it is rarely watered, or because it is severely dehydrated, the color of the new leaves is generally normal, but the leaves will slowly turn yellow and fall off when walking below and above.

Solution: this requires us to directly pour water inside to solve, of course, we still have to control the quantity, not too much, otherwise it will cause other problems.

4. Alkali yellow

Because it prefers acidic soil, but because the water is alkaline in the north, the leaves may turn yellow.

Solution: if we want to change the water given to it at this time, we can generally use fermented rice washing water or Rain Water. Of course, we can also add some vinegar to the water, so that it can grow better, and the leaves will not be like this.
