At present, the agricultural machinery cooperative has 114 members and 269 sets of agricultural machinery, including 17 large and medium tractors, 54 rice transplanters (32 seated), 18 high-performance sprayers, 11 semi-feeding combine harvesters, 4 drying equipment and 1 milled rice processing assembly line. According to President Wang Haibin, the development of processing and circulation is caused by the rising production costs and shrinking profit margins of the former cooperatives, but the "money" is good and accidentally picked up a "golden doll."

Narrowing profit margin "forcing" cooperatives to seek new space

In 2009, cooperatives set up rice processing lines, built grain depots and installed drying equipment. In the same year, the Haibin Agricultural Machinery Cooperative set up a "Haibin Grain crops Professional Cooperative". In addition to transferring the land for its own production, it also attracted large grain growers to join the cooperative for order production and provided raw grain to the processing plant. President Wang Haibin said that in 2013, the socialized service income of agricultural machinery was 4.28 million yuan, with a profit of 1.28 million yuan; by using the idle time of the warehouse to dry and store grain, the profit was 300000 yuan; nearly 10, 000 tons of rice was processed and sold, the sales income was more than 70 million yuan, and the profit was more than 1.4 million yuan. " Haibin cooperative transferred more than 4000 mu of land, mainly to produce high-quality organic rice; signed orders of more than 3000 mu to produce high-quality rice; at the same time, purchased retail rice, mainly to produce ordinary rice; registered "Lihu" and "Man Woxiang" two brands, among which "Lihu" brand soft rice belongs to medium-and high-grade rice, the price reaches 15 yuan / jin. Over the past few years, the cooperative's pollution-free rice has established a good reputation in Suzhou, Wuxi and Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. If you want to buy rice to "Bieqiao" (the town of Bieqiao where the cooperative is located), the rice of the cooperative has become the first choice of many local organs and schools.

The interests are closely linked, the cooperative and its members form a community with a shared future

The Haibin cooperative pays dividends to the socialized service income and processing income of agricultural machinery in accordance with the proportion of investment in agricultural machinery and processing equipment (the proportion of investment in agricultural machinery and processing equipment at the time of joining the cooperative); it adopts a policy of purchasing large growers at a guaranteed base price, that is, it buys with an additional 10 cents per jin on the basis of the purchase price guided by the state. The agricultural materials and services used by the members shall be provided by the cooperative and settled at a 10% discount on the market price at that time after harvest. For the large growers with higher yield per mu, the second profit distribution was carried out according to the quantity and quality of grain handed in, that is, 2 million yuan of the cooperative's profit of 2.98 million yuan. Wang Haibin said: "according to the current mode of operation, through unified improved varieties, mechanized planting, preferential agricultural materials, and return of processing and sales profits, members can increase their income by more than 200 yuan per mu, and members can get rich by growing grain."
