Leisure agriculture received 900 million people in 2013

The reporter learned at the national experience exchange meeting on leisure agriculture held in Nanjing: at present, the number of people and operating income of all kinds of leisure agriculture in China have maintained an average annual growth rate of more than 15%. In the first half of 2014 alone, leisure agriculture across the country has received 500 million tourists and its business income has exceeded 150 billion yuan. Leisure agriculture has become a new economic growth point. By the end of 2013, there are more than 1.8 million operators of various types of leisure agriculture across the country, receiving 900 million tourists a year, business income 270 billion yuan, radiation led to increase the income of 29 million farmers.
