Discussion on deep planting and shallow species of Cymbidium

The natural growth of Cymbidium is usually above the cliff and where there is plenty of sunshine. The pseudobulb of Cymbidium is small and its root system is well developed. Downhill Cymbidium has the theory of deep planting and shallow planting, and Cymbidium culture has a large basin and deep buried water control method. First, the cymbidium is cultivated in a large pot, because the root system of the cymbidium is more developed than that of the spring orchid, and the small basin is not conducive to the root growth; second, the false bulb should be buried in the soil 2 or 3 centimeters apart from the plant material, and the third is that the cymbidium is more drought-tolerant and should not be watered too frequently. Under the same dry and wet conditions, the overall growth of the cymbidium will improve greatly if it is rewatered one or two days later than the spring orchid. At the same time, pay attention to moisturizing, the air humidity is higher, the basin is slightly drier, and the grass is easy to pull up. I put forward my own views on the deep planting and shallow planting of wild cymbidium and my usual conservation experience.
