Zhejiang has found a way to prevent soft rot of orchids.
After two years of efforts, Zhejiang finally found a way to prevent the soft rot of orchids. There are two methods: one is to use the specific medicine to kill the soft rot of orchids (imported from abroad), and the other is the secretion products extracted from biological bacteria. After two years of use by some orchid friends of Shaoxing Orchid Association, the effect is remarkable.
According to the study, the soft rot of orchids is caused by Fusarium oxysporum. Under the condition of high temperature and high humidity, Fusarium oxysporum spores germinated on the pseudobulb of orchid and put the hyphae into the body of orchid and grew in large quantities, thus blocking the nutrient delivery tube of orchid and causing the pseudobulb of orchid to rot. In order to prevent the occurrence of orchid soft rot, it is necessary to effectively kill the Fusarium spores in the orchid pot, and the specific medicine of orchid soft rot can effectively kill the Fusarium spores in the orchid pot, so as to effectively prevent the occurrence of orchid soft rot.
Another organism that kills Fusarium orchid is a strain found and extracted from nature, whose excrement can effectively kill Fusarium oxysporum. This strain has been produced in the laboratory of Zhejiang University and made into biological excreta products, which will soon be able to meet the market.
