Last Updated: 2024/11/05, If we want it to grow vigorously, we need to control the changing of pots, watering, fertilization, lighting and pruning. Changing the soil when changing the basin can add nourishment to it. Water the right amount, just once or twice a week. In addition, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can be applied in autumn to ensure eight hours of light and proper pruning after flower fade.

1. Change the basin

In fact, changing the basin plays a very important role in its growth, because once the plants for a long time will show symptoms that nutrition can not keep up with, so we have to change the basin, usually this operation is carried out in spring, the soil we want to use is garden soil, peat and sand, the mixture of these three kinds is very good, in addition, we can not make the basin soil too wet, otherwise it will affect the subsequent growth.

Second, watering

Watering is a very important link, usually we water once or twice a week, in the middle of summer, we should control watering, and then pay attention to ventilation, if the temperature is relatively high, we should consider that more water will lead to leaf shedding.

III. Fertilization

1. If we apply fertilizer, we'd better do it once a month. If it produces flowers and buds in autumn, we can consider adding phosphate and potash fertilizer.

2. When it is growing vigorously, we should apply compound liquid fertilizer to it every two or three weeks, which can make it stronger and bloom more luxuriantly.

3. Generally speaking, the flower bud will be ready in November. At this time, we can add potassium dihydrogen phosphate to it. The florescence will be longer and the flower will bloom better.

Fourth, lighting

Light also has a great effect on its growth, because what this kind needs is short sunshine, so it is more sensitive to the requirements of light. if we want to raise it well, we still have to give it eight or nine hours of sunshine a day. Generally, buds will appear after three or four weeks of treatment. During its growth, we have to turn the direction of its flowerpot, because in this way it will receive light more evenly, and the branches will be more symmetrical.

5. Pruning

After the flower fades, we have to cut off its remnants so that its nutrients will not be wasted and there will be more blossoms next time.
