1. Pick the heart

Pick the heart in order to make it branch, so the amount of flowering will be larger, and the plant will not grow for no reason, which is a means to make it compact. Generally speaking, we have to pick the heart relatively early. There is no need to back up the seedling at this time. It is usually carried out one month after the cuttage is alive. When it grows to about four to six centimeters, we can pick it out. Of course, if the breed we raise is the one that grows very tall, we need to pick the heart earlier.

2. Topping

This kind of operation needs to back up the seedlings, usually waiting for the plant to grow to about ten centimeters. Usually we have to leave it three or five pairs of leaves, knock off the top buds, and then re-cultivate it, so that it will grow better.

3. Forking

This one is to cut off the more concentrated branches, in addition, you can also cut off those weaker branches. In this way, the light transmittance inside the seed will be stronger, the branches will grow faster, and there will not be many diseases and insects. Generally speaking, we cut off the weak ones and leave the strong ones, so that the flowers will be more compact, otherwise there are more lateral branches, nutrition is not concentrated, and it is easy to grow in vain.

4. Pay attention

Because its old plant will age, its disease resistance is relatively weak and its differentiation ability is not high, and it is difficult to control its shape, so we'd better re-cut it in two to three years, but we can't directly remove it from the root. It should be decided according to its own state. This kind of operation also needs to stop according to the condition of the bud, usually we have to stop this operation one month before the first bud, so that it will not cause its flower to be abnormal.
