The application of Internet of things in agriculture in China has achieved remarkable results in five links.
Recently, the 2014 Agricultural Informatization Summit Forum on Agricultural Internet of things and Agricultural products quality and Safety traceability Sub-Forum was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Officials and experts attending the meeting believe that at present, the application of the Internet of things in agriculture in China has achieved remarkable results in five links.
According to Guang Defu, an inspector of the Agricultural products quality and Safety Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, at present, the Internet of things in China has achieved remarkable results in five links: first, in the fine monitoring and scheduling of agricultural resources, the use of satellites carrying high-precision sensing equipment to obtain soil, soil moisture, hydrology and other fine agricultural resources information, with the agricultural resources dispatching expert system to achieve scientific decision-making Second, in the monitoring and management of agricultural ecological environment, the monitoring network of agricultural ecological environment is constructed by using sensor sensing technology, information fusion transmission technology and Internet technology to realize the automatic monitoring of agricultural ecological environment. Third, in the fine management of agricultural production process, it is applied to field planting, facility agriculture, orchard production and livestock and poultry aquaculture operations, so as to realize intelligent control and scientific management of the production process and improve resource utilization and labor productivity. Fourth, in the aspect of traceability of the quality of agricultural products, through the perception, transmission, fusion and processing of the whole process of production, circulation and sale of agricultural products, the whole process of traceability of agricultural products "from farmland to dinner table" can be realized so as to protect the safety of agricultural products. Fifth, in the logistics of agricultural products, the use of bar code technology and radio frequency identification technology to achieve product information collection and tracking, effectively improve the efficiency of agricultural products in warehousing and freight transportation, and promote the development of agricultural products e-commerce.
According to a person from the Ministry of Agriculture, in 2013, the Ministry of Agriculture took the lead in implementing the regional pilot project of the Internet of things in Tianjin, Shanghai and Anhui, supporting the three provinces and cities according to their respective economic, social and agricultural development levels and industrial characteristics. experiments and demonstrations were carried out in facility agriculture, dairy farming and aquaculture, agricultural product quality and safety monitoring and agricultural e-commerce promotion, and field grain crop production monitoring as key areas. We will explore the visible, available and sustainable popularization and application model of the agricultural Internet of things, and gradually construct the theoretical system, technical system, application system, standard system, organizational system, institutional system and policy system of the agricultural Internet of things, and popularize and apply it in different regions and stages throughout the country. At present, the project is progressing smoothly and has achieved phased results.
