How to cut cloves

1. Time

The time still needs to be fixed, and we generally choose to do this one month after flowering.

2. Branches

For the selection of branches still need to have certain rules, generally we use cuttings are summer shoots, it needs to grow out of the new shoots with leaves, but also need it semi-Lignification. Or you can choose a hard branch, but if it is a hard branch, it is basically a branch that has grown for a year or two, and it is needed to be more robust.

3. Methods

① the branch we use is about fifteen centimeters long. first of all, we have to cut off the leaves under it, leaving only one or two leaves at the top.

If ④ is a tender branch, we can insert it directly into the hotbed. It will directly take root and sprout into a new plant. Generally, it will take root in about a month at 25 degrees Celsius. When the root changes from white to yellowish brown, we can transplant it.

⑤ if we use hardwood, we basically insert it into the seedbed and then cover it for a shade. It can take about 50 days to take root. This planting is usually the next spring.
