There are 330,000 agricultural industrialization organizations in China

From October 31 to November 2, a training course for leaders of national key leading enterprises sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. We should thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the third and fourth Plenary sessions of the 18th CPC Central Committee, implement the opinions of the State Council on supporting the development of leading enterprises, and analyze the development situation of agricultural industrialization. this paper discusses the ideas and measures to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of leading enterprises, build a new agricultural management system, and promote the development of modern agriculture. Chen Xiaohua, vice minister of agriculture, attended the training course and made a speech.

Chen Xiaohua pointed out that agricultural industrialization has developed steadily and healthily in recent years. At present, there are 330000 agricultural industrialization organizations of various types, of which there are more than 120000 leading enterprises, with an annual sales income of 7.9 trillion yuan. Radiation has driven 120 million peasant households, and the average annual household income of farmers participating in industrial operation has increased by more than 3000 yuan. the effect of ensuring supply and increasing employment and income for farmers continues to show, playing an important role in stabilizing growth and benefiting the people's livelihood.

Chen Xiaohua stressed that leading enterprises are the backbone of building a new agricultural management system. Leading enterprises have the advantages of capital, technology and management, and are the representatives of advanced productive forces and the most dynamic main body in the new agricultural management system; guide farmers to expand their business scale and improve the degree of organization, it is the incubator to cultivate family farms and farmers' cooperatives; actively expand the industrial chain upstream and downstream, promote industrial value-added and share income with various participants, is the core of the industrial chain and benefit chain.

Chen Xiaohua demanded that leading enterprises seize the opportunity, speed up transformation and upgrading, and play a greater role in the new situation. Define their own functional positioning, pay attention to production management, business model innovation, improve the interest linkage mechanism with farmers, family farms, farmers' cooperatives, etc., to achieve benefit sharing and move forward hand in hand.

Leaders and experts of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the people's Bank of China, the State Administration of Taxation, the CSRC and other relevant units gave special lectures. Responsible comrades of the departments in charge of agricultural industrialization in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and responsible persons of more than 170 key national leading enterprises attended the training.
