A few days ago, it was learned from the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences that the peanut single-grain precision sowing technology system created by the peanut cultivation team of the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences has achieved good results in tackling key problems of high yield and demonstration and extension throughout the country.

In September this year, the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences invited experts to test and accept three high-yield fields of spring peanut precision sowing technology in Shandong (each site is 4 mu), and the yield per mu all exceeded 650 kg. Among them, the yield of key farmland in Banquan Town, Junan County reached 752.6 kg per mu, breaking the national record of high peanut yield for 31 years.

In this high-yield research, the researchers took the single-grain precision sowing of peanut as the core, summed up the experience of tackling the key problem of high yield for many years, selected the excellent peanut variety "Huayu 22", and according to the idea of "optimizing the planting density on the basis of giving full play to the productivity of a single plant, establishing a reasonable population and increasing the total number of fruits per mu and 100 fruit weight". Some measures have been taken, such as improving soil fertility, sowing the whole seedling in one time, chemical control and prevention of apprenticeship at the right time, comprehensive management to prevent premature senility and late harvest in the right period.

This technology effectively overcomes the outstanding problems in traditional peanut planting, such as "large seed quantity, high cost, prominent contradiction between population and individual under the condition of high yield, and easy to cause premature senility and lodging", and has a broad application prospect in the whole country.
