An objective view of aquaculture pollution in China

According to statistics, the annual fecal output of farms in China is about 1.73 billion tons, which is 2.7 times higher than that of 634 million tons of industrial solid waste. However, before entering the industrial society, have we ever seen large-scale pollution incidents caused by livestock, poultry and human faeces?

If we look at the breeding pollution objectively, we should see that livestock and poultry manure is decomposable, transformable and can achieve a green cycle. in other words, these more than 1.73 billion tons of manure may be converted into more than 1 billion tons of plant fertilizer and high-calorie fuel. this means that under modern normative treatment, these "pollution" can often turn waste into treasure. This kind of treatability is obviously different from the irreversible invasion of industrial pollution and derivative pollution to the environment. For this reason, to improve the treatment capacity of livestock and poultry manure and other polluting products should be raised to the first place, through technical means to convert it into fertilizer, feed, fuel. At the same time, the cultivation of downstream industrial chain should be strengthened to achieve product docking, so as to achieve the purpose of digestion. For the residue and waste that can not be dealt with, to achieve deep burial, put an end to random discharge, and only in this way, aquaculture pollution can achieve green "counterattack".
