The Makino family originally lived in Sendai City in northeastern Japan. Makino was already a person who liked to live with nature when he was in Sendai. Usually, in addition to growing vegetables on his own balcony and participating in tree planting activities, he would also go up the mountain to fetch water, pick fruits, pick vegetables and so on. Mr. Makino served as the head chef of a Pizza Bar, and he was very particular about the ingredients. When he lived in Sendai, he was very particular about ingredients. The couple also raise their children in a very natural way. However, after the earthquake in East Japan on March 11, 2011, they decided to move to Hokkaido to learn to become farmers and seek a self-sufficient life. Let's take a look at their wonderful stories.

Note: F1 seed generally refers to "hybrid first generation seed". F1 refers to the first offspring of parents. In order to improve the variety or keep the excellent characteristics (heterosis) of two pure line varieties, the breeders will cross two varieties with different good characters, hoping to produce varieties that have the advantages of both parents, or even surpass their parents. However, such varieties also make it difficult for farmers to keep seeds on their own, and it has become one of the means for many seed companies to allow farmers to buy seeds. But producing F1 seeds is not entirely good or bad, and some plants do produce offspring that are better than their parents in this way.
