Last Updated: 2024/11/05, For the general public, this is a very common plant, so many people will choose to buy it, but it is also a big problem to buy fertilization. in fact, although this kind of flower does not need big fertilizer, it also needs fertilization. generally, we divide into months. It is basically once a week from March to May, no fertilizer can be applied from June to August, once every ten days in late September, and no more application after October. Of course, the type of fertilizer is one thing, and the number of seedlings varies from year to year. Let's talk about the details.

1. Types

Fertilization needs to control a lot of things. apart from time, what we need to do is to control the quantity and concentration. It has more roots, so it can absorb fertilizer, but it is afraid of fertilizer with high concentration. So generally, we can't give it human feces and urine, alum, fertilizer and water is OK.

2. Time

Fertilize it according to its growth period. generally speaking, from March to May, when its branches and buds grow, what we need to do is to apply fertilizer to it once a week, so that it can have enough nutrition. The period from June to August goes into semi-dormancy due to the height of summer, so it is best not to apply fertilizer at this time, otherwise its leaves will fall and may turn yellow, or even be attacked by diseases and insect pests. After September, it began to grow again, when liquid phosphorus fertilizer was basically applied once every ten days, and the supply of fertilizer was stopped after October. If you don't stop fertilizing at this time, it will make the plant grow new leaves, but the leaves will be very fragile and it will be very difficult to survive the winter.

3. Seedling

Generally speaking, plants of different sizes are fertilized differently. if it is only one or two years, there is no need to apply fertilizer, because there is enough fertilizer in the soil at this time, while for three to five years, from late spring to midsummer, you can consider applying dilute fertilizer once every 15 days. In addition, if the plant is four years old, dry cake fertilizer needs to be applied in spring and autumn, which is about 20 grams.

We should note that if the plant has withered leaves and yellow leaves, most of the reasons may be due to the application of too much fertilizer, so we have to stop fertilizing, then dig out the dry fertilizer, and then water more to dispose of the accumulated fertilizer. After watering, move it to a windy place. If you need to wash two more times if you accumulate too much fertilizer, you can grow up normally after half a year.
